Yoga for the New Mother
Yoga for the New Mother is held every second Sunday of each month. This class runs 75 minutes and focuses on a mother’s innate ability to manage stressful situations through restorative poses, breathing techniques and deep relaxation. As mothers we have very few moments to focus on ourselves with the constant demands of caring for our babies, so we invite you to come, relax and connect with other mothers on this new journey. By cultivating a personal practice of truly listening to your own needs you will reduce stress, anxiety and, ultimately, gain empowerment and compassion for yourself.
Yoga for the New Mother will be led by Suzanne Bendick, Certified Lactation Counselor and Postpartum Doula and Randa Chehab of the Ashtanga Yoga School of MT. Afterwards, we invite you to stay for tea and snacks for a chance to deepen your connection with this new community. Babies are always welcome, as are other members of your support team if needed.

Please join us the second and fourth Wednesdays of every month for our newest group, Blossom Mom. Blossom Mom is a welcoming and nurturing space for moms with babies 0-6 months who wish to connect on the joys and challenges of new parenthood while gaining wisdom and insight from other new mothers on the journey. Bring your baby and join us for a morning of connection, compassion and love. Light snacks and tea provided. We can’t wait to meet you and your little one!
